  Likwuid
  Founder/CEO

  Entrepreneur, activist and hip hop artist, LaShanna Mickens, better known by friends and fellow music makers as “Likwuid”, has made a commitment to change the negative portrayal of women in the entertainment industry. Born in the suburbs of Columbia, South Carolina, Likwuid was always a member of positive change in her community. Accomplished athlete and honor student, Likwuid swept through the state performing on various stages and speaking to young people about the importance of education and self-love.

  Upon moving to New York City, Likwuid along with childhood friend Lynnette Doby and Nadia Dale decided to form a company with the aim of empowering women by promoting progressive ideas and images for women of color. “For women to attain the respect that we deserve, we must celebrate our champions and give support to our weakest links. Misogyny is another plague that, unfortunately, has poisoned our society, our minds, and our music. Instead of TALKING about the problem, we at Royalty Media Group decided to offer a SOLUTION. This website is about getting our voices heard and celebrating our champions as business minded and artistic spirits.”

  Likwuid is currently a member of the group Rebel Starr. “When she raps, you can hear her love for the music in her voice,” says nationally syndicated radio personality Charlemagne the God, “Likwuid let’s her mind and soul, not her body, dictate her destiny.” She has received countless awards and recognition for her music to include DiscMakers/Taxi Top Artist in the Southeast (IMWS) award, JumpOff.TV Battle Winner, EOW Challenge Winner, Power 94.3 Freestyle Battle Champion, Charleston Idol Award, and numerous showcase winnings. Likwuid has been featured on MTV Asia, H20 on Demand, BK Magazine, WACH 57, Hot 103.9, Rise Up Radio, Rago Magazine and countless other mediums.

  Lynne Rene
  Founder/President

  Hard work, perseverance, and the pursuit of happiness are three qualities that the multi-talented Lynne Rene possesses. Ever since she was born and raised in the capital city of South Carolina, Columbia, her main focus has been to improve the quality of life and the perception of her sex and race. She aims to accomplish this by assisting young minority artists in perfecting their image in the entertainment industry.

  The industry is filled with individuals whose image is created based on what is the current style, rather than who the artist truly is. As a makeup artist, stylist, and image consultant Lynne Rene prides herself in creating and maintaining a professional relationship with the artist in which she takes time to learn their personality, and she then tailor makes their look. Thus, the reality of the artist is showcased, rather than a shameless gimmick. "Being true to oneself is the epitome of image. Wear and represent what is comfortable to you, anything else is forced, thus it is unreal. Be you and everything else will come naturally."-Lynne ReneIn addition to image consulting, Lynne Rene is an actress, songwriter, occasional singer, communication guru, and road manager. She takes prides in being multi-faceted for she feels variety is the "spice of life.” Blessed with an innate sense of style, and a true love for people Lynne Rene loves what she does and will not stop until her professional and personal goals are birthed into existence.

  Nadia Dale
  Founder

  Nadia Dale is a 2001 graduate of Jackson State University, and a 2007 graduate of the prestigious New York University. As a social activist, and revolutionary for progressive change for women and minorities, Dale acts as the community service specialist for Royalty Media Group. Dale ensures that Royalty brings about a positive change in the community, while maintaining company goals. “I see Royalty bringing about positive change in the community as well as providing liberation for Black women through positive portrayal in hip hop.” With platforms that include women’s rights, civil rights, economic reform, and youth mentoring, Royalty Media Group seeks to contribute to our community just as much as the entertainment world.

  Not only is Dale a founding member of Royalty Media Group, she also is the Executive Director of Dance 4A Cure, Incorporated in Columbus, Mississippi. Dance 4A Cure is a non-profit organization seeking to change the lives of girls and young women through the art of dance. Dale also works as a family resource center counselor for Groundwork, Incorporated.

  Lucy Pacius
  Webmaster Intern

  Born and raised in New Jersey, Lucy Pacius graduated top of her high school graduating class. A year after graduating from The College of New Jersey in 2007, she joined the Xi-Alpha chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. As a member, she has taken part in many of the chapter's yearly service activities and enjoyable social events. She previously volunteered at the Hearts and Minds Center in NYC, a non profit organization that works at educating people about world hunger and ending poverty through programs, walks, etc. When she is not attending Xi-Alpha events or volunteering her time, she spends time perfecting her craft for her other passion, 3D animation and Web Design. She hopes to one day join an animation studio and work in the film or advertising industry.

  Dwight Allen O'Neal
  Brand Manager

  Dwight Allen O’Neal began his career as a successful model. Now, becoming an entertainment overachiever has allowed him to begin to leave his mark on the world. Being educated at “The American Musical and Dramatic Academy” has allowed him to buff his talents to near perfection and gave him tools for stardom. Working as a professional entertainer as “Allen O’Neal,” this new-comer has been seen on the big screen in “Hitch,” “Comedy Central,” several commercials, modeling campaigns, and much more. When he began writing an advice column in “Teen People Magazine,” it opened his eyes to his ability to assist youth with issues they face. After completing this opportunity, O’Neal decided that he would take on the challenge of mentoring LGBTQ through writing, creating, and producing Christopher Street TV. Recently O’Neal has become the make-up artist for “Gossip Girl’s” Leighton Meester, online correspondent for “We Are The Media”, “Dating Dwight”, and dishes every Monday at The FUTURE Forward.net.

  Isaiah Walker
  Fashion Coordinator

  Fashion expert Isaiah Walker is considered to be a fashion, style, and image counselor for every man and woman. His keen sense of the style and intense knowledge of the fashion industry enable him to know his business in totality.
  Possessing both corporate and freelance experience in the fashion industry, this New York based fashion guru has served in many different capacities as a fashion stylist, fashion expert, and image consultant. Blessed with an innate knowledge of contour, color pallets, patterns, and line of fabric Isaiah most recently held the distinction of being the Style and Fashion Visual Expert at Club Monaco which is an ever growing, timeless brand under the Ralph Lauren umbrella. He has also developed concepts for Ann Taylor and GAP Inc,. Working with these companies has progressed Isaiah’s abilities to grow within the industry. Isaiah has met all challenges that have come his way with open arms and the grand desire to succeed. Isaiah believes in the art of saving peoples lives one outfit at a time, and to educate and teach an aesthetic that will transcend through their everyday lives. Isaiah feels his professional goal is to “Teach one to have a strapping visual eye.”
  Currently Isaiah attends Columbia University, and is working on special project for up and coming designers during New York City’s spring fashion week. In addition to being appointed as Royalty Media Group’s Fashion Coordinator, Isaiah contributes to Choice magazine that represents everyday fashion for the everyday woman.
